The Big Top Bowl-A-Thon 2010 was a HUGE success! Rudy’s Lanes in Two Rivers was the host for the 25th annual event that brought in many clowns, lion tamers, ring masters, animals of all types as well as more than one bearded lady! Almost $120,000 was raised by over 660 bowlers, donors and sponsors. BBBS wishes to thank each of you for helping us continue to provide professional youth mentoring programs to Manitowoc County. Congratulations to Lora Kinjerski of Mishicot for winning the 32 inch HDTV drawing! The Bowl-A-Thon committee did another outstanding job of planning the event throughout the year as well as making sure all the details were taken care of at the event. The committee includes: Amy Peterman, Jodi Schwalbe, Judy Kellenbenz, Julie Kautzer, June Cleveringa, Laura Wiegert, Mia Quistorf, Nancy Knapp, Randy Knapp, Rita Muench, Tom Brull and Tom Kocourek. Special thanks to Balloon Artist Richard Varga for traveling from DePere to make his amazing creations and to Todd Gemskie our MC who traveled from Chicago each weekend to add his personality to each shift. Bob and the staff of Rudy’s Lanes always welcomes the Bowl-A-Thon with open arms - Thank you! A HUGE thanks to the BBBS Office Manager Rita Muench for not only being the largest pledge raiser, but for the endless hours she spends each year registering teams, securing prizes and food and keeping track of pretty much everything related to Bowl-A-Thon!
